OnPoint Building Services is a locally owned full service janitorial company that started in southeastern Virginia. With deep roots in the commercial building services industry, OnPoint understands that clients deserve consistent service and reliable communication from their service providers—and that challenge excites us.

Here at OnPoint, we are big enough to meet ALL your facility needs but small enough to deliver an individualized service that leaves you feeling cared for. Because of that, our number one priority is the very thing that makes such excellent service possible: our people. We couldn’t be prouder of our robust management team (see above—Hi, guys!), that is responsible for leading and growing hundreds of employees in the field. Each of these leaders prioritize twice-weekly training meetings, ongoing professional education, and utilizing internal promotions to ensure that they retain the key talent that keeps our customers’ service running so smoothly. We truly believe we have an industry-elite team of managers that embody servant leadership and an ownership mentality. It is a joy and honor to work with them each day!

Meet the Owners

Cory Jessee

Cory Jessee grew up in Warm Springs, Virginia and earned his B.B.A. in Process Management and Consulting from The College of William and Mary. After graduation, Cory successfully bought and sold multiple businesses before relocating to Virginia Beach, where he co-founded a mergers and acquisitions firm specializing in lower-middle market companies in the Hampton Roads area.

Leveraging his M&A experience and network, Cory co-founded OnPoint Building Services with Blake Dozier, aiming to infuse excellent communication and professionalism into an industry where both are often lacking. As a co-founder, Cory’s primary focus is on operational leadership and employee management, ensuring that OnPoint runs efficiently and with a strong commitment to its workforce. He is passionate about growing our excellent team of managers both personally and professionally.

Cory is deeply invested in the Hampton Roads community. He is a co-founder of VB Fellows, a non-profit organization dedicated to mentoring recent college graduates in Virginia Beach. Additionally, Cory chairs the finance committee and serves on the Board of Trustees for Norfolk Christian Schools, and is an active member of Anchor Church in Virginia Beach. Cory is the recipient of the Inside Business Hampton Roads Top 40 Under 40 Award in 2022.

Cory resides in Virginia Beach with his wife, Ashley, their two daughters, Ryan (7) and Carter (5), and their Golden Retriever, Waylon.

Blake Dozier

Blake Dozier grew up in Virginia Beach, Virginia, and graduated from Hampden-Sydney College with a B.A. in Religion and a minor in Economics. He began his career in commercial real estate brokerage with CBRE of Virginia before transitioning into business development in the eLearning industry. In 2015, Blake co-founded OnPoint Building Services with Cory Jessee, driven by a vision to elevate customer service and employee care in the janitorial industry. Over the past decade, OnPoint has earned a reputation for quality service, exceptional communication, and a company culture that prioritizes employee well-being.

Blake has been actively involved in the local community, serving as Chairman of the Board of PiN Ministry (People in Need), a non-profit dedicated to serving the poor. He is also a co-founder and the current Chairman of the Board of VB Fellows, a local non-profit that provides a year of mentorship and career development for recent college graduates. Additionally, Blake serves on the boards of Virginia Beach Vision and the Hampton Roads chapter of IFMA (International Facilities Management Association) and is an active supporter of IREM (Institute for Real Estate Management). Blake volunteers with New Life Church at the Virginia Beach Town Center Campus, and is the recipient of the Inside Business Hampton Roads Top 40 Under 40 Award in 2019.

Blake is deeply committed to fostering a supportive work environment, believing that taking care of employees is key to delivering outstanding service. Blake and his wife, Caroline, live in Virginia Beach with their four children: twins Luke (11) and Virginia (11), Annabelle (7), and David (6), along with their black lab, Marshal.
